Payment methods, Monri WebPay, data security and card refunds.
IMPORTANT: Monri payments are in testing
The Monri payment system on our website is currently being tested. Real orders and payments are not processed through Monri during this phase and must be arranged through another agreed method. Please use the available payment methods for real purchases and do not attempt to pay through the Monri test environment.
Available payment methods
Use the payment methods offered at checkout for real purchases. Cash on delivery means paying when you receive your parcel. Business customers use the option shown for their B2B account. Card payments are currently being tested and are not intended for real charges.
How card payments work
When the Card option is available, confirming your order opens the Monri payment page, where you enter card details. Your bank may request additional authentication. You then return to the website with the payment result. Opening the payment page alone does not mean the transaction was approved. Accepted card types are shown on the payment form.
Credit card payment security
The confidentiality of your data is protected and secured using the latest version of TLS encryption. Online payment pages are secured using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol with 128-bit data encryption. SSL encryption encodes data to prevent unauthorised access during transmission.
This enables the secure transfer of information and prevents unauthorised access to data during communication between the user's computer and the WebPay service, and vice versa.
The WebPay service and financial institutions exchange data using a virtual private network (VPN), protected against unauthorised access.
Monri Payment Gateway is certified to the PCI DSS Level 1 security standard required by Visa and Mastercard rules.
The merchant does not store credit card numbers, and the numbers are not accessible to unauthorised persons.
Currency and conversion
Charges are in EUR. For accounts in another currency, the card network and issuing bank determine conversion, so statement amounts may vary with exchange rates or bank fees.
Declined, interrupted or uncertain payments
If payment is not confirmed, do not assume the order has been paid. If your bank shows a hold or charge but the website has no confirmation, contact us with the order number before trying again. A hold is not always a final charge; the cardholder can check its status with their bank.
Card payment refunds
For a purchase paid by card, the refund is processed through the bank and Monri to the same card or account used for payment. Card transactions are not refunded in cash. After processing, the time it takes for funds to appear depends on the card issuer. Send us your order number to check a refund; we do not need your full card number or CVV.
